Inflectional Word Endings Cut and Paste — -s, -es, -ing, -ies

A cut-and-paste inflectional endings activity. Students attach the correct ending (-s, -es, -ing, or -ies) to twelve Valentine-themed root words (hug, friend, kiss, give, shar, present, card, cand, flower, part, heart, thank) — for example hug+s, kiss+es, cand+ies. Some words allow more than one valid ending, so students think carefully. Use to practice plural and verb endings.
