Students examine 12 picture cards showing old and modern versions of everyday items (rotary phone vs. smartphone, candle vs. light bulb, horse vs. car, train vs. subway, watch vs. smartwatch, dress with hanger vs. modern dress) and place each into the THEN or NOW column.
